About the Event

Parenting with joy and confidence!

None of our children are exactly alike, just like us as parents. Parents University teaches democratic/authoritative parenting. This style of parenting is research based and combines warmth, sensitivity and limit setting. It is the most common parenting style for educated parents around the world, and has fantastic long-term results for raising emotionally healthy children. Choose the course that fits you the best, and get ready to enjoy 8 sessions one hour each of group study, friendship, and fun! In each course you will learn as a parent:

♦ to be more confident

♦ to be more calm

♦ to enjoy your child more

♦ to set reasonable boundaries

♦ to avoid power struggles

♦ to create family unity

♦ to connect with other parents having your shared experience The entire program with completion certificate is 100 euro plus the cost of the book (15 euro) for you to keep. Positive Parents University is taught by Talley Sjoberg-Varney, MSW. Talley has been teaching parenting since 2003. She has presented globally, and is a recipient of the Commitment to Children Award.
